Many of 1010’s residents are seniors ages 62 and older. The needs of these residents are met through a variety of services that 1010 provides or administers at no cost to our residents.

 

On a quarterly schedule, a parish nurse from California Hospital Medical Center visits each of our projects and provides healthy living counseling, as well as blood pressure checks;

 

At Villa Flores, our residents benefit from a subsidized taxi and MTA bus access via the FAME/Metro Immediate Needs Transportation Program. This program provides taxi vouchers and bus tokens on a monthly basis.

 

On the first Wednesday of each month the Los Angeles Area Food Bank conducts a food distribution program at Villa Flores to supplement the nutritional needs of our residents and qualifying non-residents.
